At least there were some great classic cars. That's what I said as I left this year's New Garden Air Show & Fly-in, in the heart of Chester County's mushroom country. Not there's anything wrong with the warbirds and aerobatic aircraft that are there, it's just that they're the same ones that are there every year. I had also shot every plane parked on the ramp in the last couple of weeks as well. Unlike most of the people there, I'm more interested in the Fly-in aircraft anyway. The planes that are just there for a few hours so the pilots can take a look around. You never know what will show up. There weren't too many visitors this year, but that's what I took the most pictures of. The worst part about this show is that the crowd faces into the sun all day. Not great for pictures, especially of planes in the sky. So as beautiful a day as it was, I was outta there after about 3 hours and didn't stick around to shoot silhouettes of the same-old stuff. Maybe next year.
